31st July 2024 Wing Boarding: Llanfairfechan Wind Direction: NE Wind Stength: F3/F4 Surf / Sea State: Swells and Chop Air Temperature: 21 Sea Temperature: 16.8 Weather: Sun Max Speed: Distance Covered: Surprise NE breeze in morning. 6m fine for a few runs, then a struggle as rushed out with mid-sized foil rather than large. Easier to put 7m up than change foil which worked well. For first time don't think I missed any footswaps even if they were ropey. Dropped quite a few gybes as don't have technique with big wind in lulls. Tried a few duck gybes as told best in light winds, got round several but couldn't sail away. Lovely summer day, and jellyfish seem to be going. |
